The set up was a breeze. We bought is from barefoot spas and they delivered it to my backyard patio for free. They did NOT hook it up though. The electrical was on us. That was fine because my brother is an electrician, and he came over to help. Cost me about $120 in materials.
Once hooked up with electrical, getting it up and running was a easy. All we did was flip the switch on my disconnect panel, and the hot tub turned on and primed the pumps and everything started working right out the box. It was a chilly day when I hooked it up, and the water was 61 degrees at 11am upon fill. We put the cover on it, and by 5pm that same day, it was up to 102! That was impressive!
Now I can get to the best part; Using it! We love this hot tub. MY wife and I both benefit from the use. I have knee problems and issues with my back. My wife has major lower back pain and her feet hurt her daily. Not any more! We’ve been using the spa almost every day, and we’ve had a major reduction in pain and inflammation. Her doctor who does her injections even told her years ago about hot water and how it can help relieve inflammation. This was years ago, and we never looked in to it. I am thankful every day we found this solution! It has been the best investment we have made for our health since we have been together for over 20 years!
