A long time ago, in a previous life almost, I owned a Sundance spa. It was immaculate. It included everything I ever wanted out of a hot tub. These days, as a result of my budget being tight, and other life factors, I simply can’t pull off another Sundance. I looked at hot spring, Master, and Maax spas. All too much of a stretch for me.
It wasn’t until I found barefoot spas at a convention show in Albuquerque that I was able to make it happen. I met a few reps there that were very informative. They explained things in a different way when I purchased. I learned the things I really wanted to as opposed to the things a salesman wants me to. I’m not sure if that makes sense, but just put it this way; I got what I wanted, and I got a HECK of a deal. Long story short, I paid roughly 4 grand less than the Sundance I was dreaming about at pools and more. AND the barefoot (model 88LP) has more jets, more power, better sanitizer, and comparable warranty. So, I really did get more than I wanted, for less money out of pocket.
My wife and I use it every day just about. I did the install myself which had a few snags (all my fault and net time I will hire someone), and barefoot spa rep put the spa directly in place where I wanted it on my patio for free. I recommend barefoot spas if you can find a deal at a convention show. They also sell them at stores and not just promotional events. The prices available in stores are a bit much in my opinion, but if I had the money, knowing what I know now, I may still consider paying full retail for one. Again, the only thing that made this happen for me was the fact that I found barefoot at a discount convention show for an extremely marked down price!
