We purchased the 77LP barefoot spa with the Ozo UV light ozonator and sanitizer. The spa since purchase has been maintained according to directions, and it has done quite well in cleaning the water, and sanitizing as promised. My issue has not been with the mechanics of the spa or the ozonator, but with the effects these sort of components have on the lids/covers. The Barefoot spas manufacturer was having a show like an expo where they had all their models out on a showroom floor. It was at the convention center downtown. My wife fell in love with the barefoot spas 88LP. When I look it up on the website, its called the barefoot spas Alpina Platinum. I guess it has two names. The price and the features we got from our barefoot spa 57lp are worth it. We bought one back in 2001 which was our first one. It was not working for over 5 years, and we just replaced it. The 57lp is a smaller size, but perfect for us.

We have the 8 person hot tub. We really like it, and we use it often! Works great for my back pain and my husband’s knee replacement. The water purifier and UV sterilizer function is great and makes it very easy to take care of. We recommend that feature as an upgrade if they have it.

What we like most about the barefoot spa is the ease of the chemicals we use. I researched the heck out of barefoot spas and the way they’re made and the way they work. Again, the biggest thing for us is the chemicals… or I should say lack there of?

Me and my wife are experienced hot tub people, and the barefoot spas ozonator has been wonderful. We bought our 4th hot tub, barefoot spas model 77LP, in February of 2017. It was the first time we got the upgraded full occupancy ozonator system to sanitize the water. This feature is amazing, and a must have for anyone dealing with allergic reactions to chlorine, bromine or any chemicals used to sanitize or balance hot tub water.

I exercise in it every morning and I already feel stronger my 11 year old son plays in it with his friends and he doesn’t break out in a Rash like he does when he uses his Nana and Papas pool. I have owned a Barefoot Spas PL7 for 5 years. Barefoot Spas has great customer service. They helped me get my spa set up and running. Once I have turned my spa on its been running great I have never had any issue. I used to have trouble sleeping at night. I spend 15 minuets in my Barefoot before bed, now I sleep like a baby. My barefoot spa tub has so much power and jet flow..the therapy is incredible, and it provides me with much needed stress relief!! I like the fact it doesn’t take much chemicals. We bought this hot tub for a rental home in the mountains. We had to replace a cheaper one that was aged. Our tenants say its great. Shows well in the pictures on our website. We like how we don’t have to keep putting chemicals in it constantly. The “accent” LED lights are a huge hit for tenants and looks great in night pictures. I will upload some later to this post.
