Barefoot spas 88LM – Alpina Limited product and warranty review

When we got our pool, the idea of a hot tub got our attention. The salesman got wind of that, and next thing you know, we own a pool AND A HOT TUB!

I’m fairly confident barefoot spas is a great brand. I’ve never had one before, so I have nothing to compare it too other than my experience and what I read, and hear form others. Barefoot spas has really good reviews. Some bad one, but mostly really really good reviews. I noticed when looking up a few other brands, the reviews aren’t as favorable. I’m not saying I bought the spa solely off reviews I read, but it DID really help. Especially my wife, she reads reviews constantly and is border line obsessed with reading them.

Couple things about the spa. It’s a 6 person, and its called the barefoot spas 88LM. Its also listed don line as the “Alpina limited”. I don’t know why there are two names. Its a little confusing really, but that’s the one we have.

Tons of room in this thing I can tell you that! When we got in my friend’s hot tub one night, it was just 4 of us in there, and it was a little too close for comfort if you know what I’m saying? I mean, we were all friends, but not THAT type of friends LOL!!

The space is really nice in this hot tub. It has 6 seats, and one of them is a chase lounge. That is my favorite seat. It feels amazing on my legs and the back of my knees. It really is an incredible feeling getting that deep tissue massage on the back of my legs. Pure relaxation!

Other thing I’ll mention is about the barefoot spas warranty. It’s about as good as it gets. I looked around a lot at other warranties of other hot tubs brands because I was curious, and turns out, barefoot spas has one of the best warranties out there. I hope I never have to use it, but the terms of the warranty are 5 years parts, and 10 years on the shell and frame. I see the 10 year or sometimes 7 year when I looked around, but the 5 years on the parts is a lot more than other brands offer. I was excited to hear that barefoot spas are 100% American made as well. About half the brands I researched are made over seas in China or even Mexico! Maybe that’s why there’s a longer term on the barefoot spas warranty? Better quality of parts? They don’t break as much?

Anyway, I hope this barefoot spas review of our 88lm / Alpina Limited helps somebody in their research. While I did close to
no research when I bought, the research I’ve done after purchase has all been encouraging. We’ve been really happy, and it also helps we got a really good price on it being that we bought it as a package deal with our pool. Cheers everyone, to many happy hot tub days to come!!
